About Me

I grew up in the sunny state of New Mexico among the cottonwoods and cacti. I spent every chance I could outside and so grew my passion for the outdoors. My mother was a midwife, so I was exposed to various forms of natural medicine at an early age, as well as the idea that our bodies have an innate healing wisdom. When it was time for me to go to college, I chose Northern Arizona University because of its mountain top location that reminded me so much of home. Despite the climate being familiar I struggled with home sickness and depression my first year away. Then tragically I lost a friend to suicide. Using therapy, meditation, yoga, and time in nature with good friends, I was able to come back to myself and find passion for life again.

I worked hard the next three years and knew I wanted to go into the medical field. However, something about the allopathic (modern) medical system didn’t sit right with me. I always sensed that true healing went beyond pharmaceuticals and surgery. That belief, rooted in my childhood understanding of the body’s innate healing wisdom, kept resurfacing. When naturopathic medicine entered my life, I knew I had found the path that truly resonated with me – and one that I believed would also resonate with my future patients.

I attended Sonoran University of Health Sciences and graduated with honors in Nature Cure. I went on to complete a first-year general medicine residency with emphases on mental health, women’s health, digestive health, and acute conditions. I truly enjoy being a primary care doctor because it allows me to build lasting relationships with my patients, supporting them through all stages of life – from their teenage years to their senior years. In addition to mental health, women’s health is a passion of mine, and I have helped many women overcome and learn to thrive with conditions like PMS/PMDD, PCOS, infertility, endometriosis, perimenopause, BV, UTIs, cystitis, and more.

When you work with me, we’ll integrate traditional naturopathic modalities including botanical medicine, acupuncture, nutrition, homeopathy, and lifestyle modification with modern therapies including IV therapy, injection therapies, pharmaceuticals, and bio-identical hormone replacement therapy. I’m dedicated to guiding my patients toward optimal wellness with comprehensive, personalized care. By taking the time to understand your unique needs and concerns, I strive to offer more than just treatment – I help you on your journey to true healing.

My Philosophy

I integrate modern scientific knowledge with traditional and natural therapies, including nutrition, herbal medicine, lifestyle counseling, stress management, and physical therapies. Rather than only treating symptoms, naturopathic medicine aims to identify and address the root causes of illness while considering the whole person—mind, body, and environment. Emphasizing prevention and patient education, naturopathic practitioners often work collaboratively with patients to develop personalized wellness plans that promote long-term health and balance.
